Guylaine Lacasse
 Artist at heart since childhood
My art emerges as an instinctive response to life — a quiet, bold dance that captures the emotional resonance of childhood and the delicate layers of human experience.
Guided by the silent narratives within my own photographs, I am drawn to fleeting moments that reveal the beauty in fragility. Each image becomes an invitation to explore the ephemeral and the emotional textures that shape our inner worlds.
Since an early age, I’ve been captivated by forms, textures, and colors. Creativity and beauty have always been constant companions, gently shaping my path. This journey first led me into the world of fashion in Montreal, then into architecture and design — and eventually, to the founding of our creative firm, a reflection of my enduring love for aesthetics and structure.
Today, I return to watercolor — my medium of choice — with a deep sense of freedom. I embrace the unpredictable dialogue between water and pigment, allowing each piece to emerge with spontaneity and openness. It is through this ever-renewed process of discovery that I continue to find meaning and connection in my art.
